Our Story
In 2015 we purchased a 9 acres of land just outside of the Nation’s Capital. While working full time we love spending our evenings and weekends outside getting our hands dirty.
Our first year we planted a 60x30 garden that produced a freezer full of produce to get through the winter. Each year we have planned our garden and learned from our successes and and failures.
In 2016 we added a large chicken coop and started our chicken flock. It has been an amazing experience being able to provide eggs to our friends and neighbors. Who knew such a small gesture could bring so much joy!
That joy led to the purchase of 4 ADGA Nigerian Dwarf goats in the spring of 2019. We added a buck and started planning our breeding program in the fall.
We can’t wait to see how our space continues to transform and grow while continuing to provide a sustainable source of food to us and our neighbors.
